Pantarest DSR

Pantarest DSR is a combination medicine containing Pantoprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (a prokinetic agent). Its primary uses are:

• Acid reflux (GERD): Reduces stomach acid and prevents backflow, relieving heartburn, chest discomfort, and regurgitation.

• Stomach and intestinal ulcers: Promotes healing and prevents new ulcers by decreasing acid production.

• Erosive esophagitis: Treats inflammation of the esophagus caused by acid reflux.

• Indigestion and bloating: Improves gut movement with domperidone, reducing feelings of fullness, nausea, and abdominal discomfort.

• Nausea and vomiting: Domperidone helps prevent these symptoms, especially related to acid reflux or gastroparesis.

How it works:

• Pantoprazole blocks the acid pump in stomach cells, resulting in less acid production.

• Domperidone increases the motility of the stomach and intestines, so food moves more efficiently and acid is less likely to back up.

• Diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, dizziness, dry mouth, and sometimes mild gas or flatulence.
